Meet Collin Ashworth

Collin Ashworth is a fourth-generation attorney practicing in North Texas who knows the local law and courts. Mr. Ashworth grew up in Arlington and is a lifelong resident of Tarrant County. He is devoted to his community, and he is dedicated to ensuring his clients are effectively represented when dealing with a legal issue.

Mr. Ashworth spent over 8 years as an Assistant District Attorney with the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office. He is well versed in the courtroom where he handled numerous jury trials for misdemeanors and felony cases. This experience helps provide unique insights when handling a case and interacting with police and government.

Mr. Ashworth is actively involved in the local legal community. He is an active member of the Tarrant County Bar Association, Arlington Bar Association, Tarrant County Bar Foundation, Texas Bar Foundation, and an Associate Member of the Eldon B. Mahon Inn of Court. He served on the board for the Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association, and is currently the President for the Tarrant County Bar Association’s Criminal Law Section. He received his undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University and his Juris Doctorate from Arizona Summit Law School. Mr. Ashworth chooses to spend time with his family when not in the office or in the court.
